The complete Medezine 4000 system is capable of handling health endangering dusts, making it suitable for use in hospitals and environments where the collection and disposal of such debris is subject to stringent control. The Saw Hand Piece A well balanced cutting head which weighs only 1400g is ergonomically designed to reduce user fatigue. This unit is fed from the power supply and operates at a very safe 40 volts. It is hermetically sealed and is watertight to IPX7 allowing disinfection and appropriate sterilization without dismantling. The enclosed motor cannot become contaminated and consequently there is no hazardous aerosol effect. All external materials used in it’s construction are non corrosive. Vacuum Unit The vacuum unit is very compact and has been designed to incorporate a highly efficient three stage filtration system by way of a paper filter, cloth filter and micron cartridge filter which operates down to 0.6 microns. The vacuum works on a negative pressure system allowing the paper bag to be changed without the risk of losing the contents. It is capable of filtering dry and partially damp material, but must never be used for extracting liquids. This unit is drip-proof to IPX1. Capacity 7litres. Power Supply The power supply uses a one button operation to turn on both the saw and the vacuum and is protected to IPX5 indicating it’s safety in a wet environment. An intelligent current limiting device (which resets itself automatically) is incorporated into the power supply to prevent overload usage of the saw unit and ultimately protect the equipment and the operator. Available in either 230v or 110v. Hand Piece and Power Supply only For use where collection and filtration of debris is not necessary. A filtration unit can be added at a later stage if required. Four different blades are available and the vacuum hood can be cut and shaped for better visibility without compromise in particle removal.
